| Before Training |

Turn up on time, training starts at 7:30pm. |

Attend on a regular basis, there is always someone else waiting to join, don't lose your place (registration is performed during your training session). |

Wear appropriate attire for training (its not a fashion show and you will feel more comfortable). |

Make sure your shoe laces are tied properly. |

Remove any chewing gum before training in the bins provided (chewing gum whilst running is dangerous). |

Your coaches spend time planning sessions, please listen and follow their instructions. |

Always warm up and down in the outer lanes (6,7 & 8). |

Stay within the group you are assigned, do not mix with other groups (plenty of time before and after to catch up on the news). |

Do not do anything stupid and always listen to your coach, we don't want anyone getting hurt. |

If you're running hard and someone is in your way shout 'TRACK' they should get out of your way, but be prepared to run around them. |

If someone shouts 'TRACK' move over immediately to the right, we don't want people getting hurt. |

Do not use the inner grass area unless accompanied by your coach. |

| Training Away From The Track |

Always stay within close proximity of any coaches and always follow their advice. |

| Senior Athletes |

The Monday night session is primarily the junior’s night, they have priority. |

Quality - when performing quality use lanes 4 & 5 in the same direction as the juniors, always be prepared to move out of the way to avoid contact. |

| 3 |
Non-Quality - please run in the opposite direction to the juniors using the outer lanes (6, 7 & 8), but still be prepared to move out of the way of oncoming juniors. |

Be aware of your movements; keep away from the track unless absolutely necessary. |

| The Coaches have made the effort to train you and the committee makes the club tick and we ALL do this voluntarily, please make an effort to show your appreciation by attending at least one of the four league meeting during the summer. |
