Notice is hereby given of the Bitton Road Runners 2018 EGM. It will take place on Thursday September 6 at 8.15pm (following runs) at Oldland Abbotonians, Castle Road, Oldland.

The agenda will be:

1 - Election of Club Captains and Vice Captains for the period of September 2018 to September 2019

If you would like to stand for the above positions, please secure a proposer and seconder end e-mail details to Club Secretary Jan Isaac at jan.isaac57@gmail.com at least 2 weeks prior to the EGM - 23 August.

2 - Proposal to change the rules of the Race of Eight.

It is proposed to change the Race of Eight from '15 races of which best 8 to count' to '8 races of which best 5 to count'.

We hope that most people will be able to attend the EGM where a confidential vote for both items can be made. For those who cannot attend the EGM there will be an opportunity to vote online by emailing the Club Secretary Jan Isaac at jan.isaac57@gmail.com, Online voting will close at midnight on 5 September. It is noted that as the Secretary needs to ensure that each member has only one vote, e-mail votes will not be confidential.
